  • Overview

    Responsible for providing world-class customer service by organizing and managing collection activities to meet and/or exceed corporate customer service standards and performance metrics.

    Responsibilities

    Perform duties below with a focus on continual improvement in customer satisfaction and performance versus SIP-defined performance metrics

    • Minimize delinquency rate for assigned accounts through effective collections management techniques
    • Effectively communicate with delinquent customers via outbound collections calls
    • Provide a customer-focused, yet effective communication approach to collection efforts
    • Articulate actions to be taken for customers with an appropriate follow-up dates
    • Be able to work effectively and optimize administrative functions between calls using provided software tools
    • Process escalated calls as required
    • Participate in special projects, as needed

    Qualifications

     SKILLS / COMPETENCY

    • Focus on performance to meet and/or exceed defined metrics
    • Possess ability to evaluate and improve business processes
    • Possess appropriate problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability and desire to use personal computer as a productivity tool to streamline work processes and communications to customers and associates

     EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • 1-2 years in a customer-focused call center
    • Demonstrated customer service skills / proficiencies
    • Previous proven successful collection experience a plus
