The Marketing Product Manager is responsible for various product lines and supporting sales growth throughout State Industrial Products. 


•  Establish and implement an annual plan for expanding company penetration of product markets.
•  Coordinate product line and business development activities with overall company strategy and plans so that sales and profit growth is accretive to the business.
•  Monitor sales, gross margin and contribution margin performance versus budget and prior year and adjust program strategy as needed.  Set pricing for programs.
•  Manage all products added to, or deleted from the line, following the company’s commercialization process.
•  Manage generation of technical material, collateral, training and promotional materials required to support and grow the product lines.
•  Provide field sales and technical support as needed to support the program.
•  Lead the Company’s response to competitive product initiatives.
•  Ensure regulatory compliance for all products in line.
•  Ensure that lines are complete and represent best available technology.
•  Achieve operational efficiencies for assigned product lines including inventory levels, package/formulation/label optimization and product line rationalization. 
•  Understand and support the company’s quality systems.
•  Complete special projects from time to time as required to facilitate the success of the company.


•  At least two years of product management, marketing and/or technical support experience preferred.
•  Two years sales, marketing or business development management experience preferred.
•  BA/BS degree required.
•  Able to develop and execute effect business and project plans.
•  Able to train others in correct application of product lines.
•  Able to technically set-up, operate and troubleshoot effective product programs.
•  Able to assist the sales force in closing sales at all levels.
•  Able to produce program support materials required for the program to be successful.
•  Skilled in pricing, financial and marketing analysis.
•  Able to expand product offer in existing accounts and to obtain additional customers.
•  Able to work effectively on project teams with matrix responsibilities.
•  Exhibits effective oral and written communication skills.
•  Exhibits a high degree of results orientation, business acumen, and integrity.
•  PC proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and current web tools.
•  Able to travel up to 50% throughout the territories covered by State Industrial Products.
