  • An inside sales position responsible for daily service and selling to assigned accounts
  • Additional focus on reactivating inactive customers in assigned territory
  • Work with partnered Field associates to provide optimal customer service and support
  • Manage retention and growth of assigned accounts utilizing company initiatives, programs, and resources



  • Maintain outbound call, talk-time and sales quotas
  • Shared selling with designated accounts in assigned district
  • Provide pricing and product information to customers
  • Place, monitor, and ensure timely shipment of customer orders
  • Maintain proper call notes in SAP for each customer contact and activity
  • Manage, develop, and grow assigned accounts through regular contact
  • Build relationships with contacts at assigned accounts
  • Introduce new products and services to assigned accounts as applicable
  • Partner with Field sales associates and management to help achieve territory objectives
  • Complete targeted sales campaigns assigned by management
  • Report customer and market developments to Field sales associates and management
  • Complete and maintain product training and certification
  • Keep abreast of product, service and industry developments
  • Complete special projects as assigned



  • Outbound and inbound phone selling skills
  • ERP (SAP preferred), CRM, phone and web-based system proficiency
  • MS Office application experience
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate ability to upsell customers     
  • Demonstrate a self-starter attitude
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written business communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in servicing customers and developing strategic relationships via the phone
  • Demonstrate ability to learn product information and transfer knowledge to customers



  • 1-3 years direct customer selling experience from an inside/phone perspective



  • College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
