The Application Development Project Manager is primarily involved with the implementation of application business solutions as requested from the State Industrial Products (SIP) organization.


  • Lead application development projects through all stages of the project lifecycle (requirements definition, design, build, test, deploy, and post-implementation support)
  • Coordinate end user training and user acceptance testing for assigned projects
  • Communicate status of all project-related activities to internal and external organization based on agreed timelines
  • Manage project performance (labor actual to estimates, completion time actual to estimates) and project performance to budget
  • Ensure successful project implementation

  • Experience with project budgeting and controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Training / Education Required

  • Experience in Sales, Distribution & Manufacturing environment
  • Application analysis and design within an ERP system
  • Direct customer contact and business support
  • Certification in skill areas a plus

Experience Required

  • College degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related discipline
  • 4 years related application development and/or project management experience
