Overview

Develop solutions for Sales and Distribution, Material Management, Finance business units and related processes that are primarily focused in SAP and peripheral systems in conjunction with and to support the business. Effectively communicate with the business in regard to customer (business, field and end-customer) service level optimization.

Responsibilities

• Partner and consult with Information Services and the business to best utilize system strengths while meeting required business needs
• Effectively communicate with the business on an ongoing, proactive basis to help ensure that applications are most effectively optimized
• Resolve business and information processing challenges within areas of expertise using available tools
• Manage and process Information Services tasks and projects pertaining to SAP SD/MM/FICO-related configuration and related functions across SAP ECC 6.0 and other relevant systems
• Solve day-to-day technical and functional issues that arise relative to scope of expertise
• Gather requirements and architect design for small, medium and large projects

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated appropriate working knowledge of systems
• Demonstrated successful task management experience, predominantly in the SAP environment
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and solve complex business and technical issues
• SAP configuration or related functional or process experience in 2 of the following areas: SD / MM /PP /WM /FICO.
• Understanding of Application Development Methodologies
• Ability to coordinate resources based on business and project requirements
• Ability to comprehend business problems and needs, and understand their interrelationships with systems in order to recommend, design and implement appropriate effective, scalable solutions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to provide optimal customer satisfaction
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Have an understanding of the impact of decisions and actions on process and financial results
